VOLO led the end-to-end development of the JUNO Hospitality Suite, architecting, integrating, and certifying the system into a unified and scalable solution.

PMS Integrations & Certifications 

A key part of VOLO’s work was securing Oracle certification and building integrations with leading PMS platforms, including Shiji, Infor, Protel, Sihot, Clock PMS, and RMS Cloud. These integrations enable JUNO to communicate seamlessly with existing hotel management systems, supporting real-time data exchange for bookings, payments, and guest profiles. By establishing certified and standardized connections, the platform shortens onboarding for new hotels, ensures compatibility with diverse PMS environments, and maintains compliance with hospitality technology standards.

Middleware Connector 

VOLO developed a middleware layer that connects PMS platforms, payment service providers, and financial systems. This component serves as the backbone of the JUNO architecture, enabling smooth communication between disparate systems and consolidating transactional data for reporting and reconciliation. The middleware ensures that data flows reliably and consistently across the platform, supporting efficient financial operations without manual intervention.

Terminal Support Module 

The Nexus module, designed by VOLO, allows existing payment terminals to function within the new JUNO architecture. This solution ensures hotels can retain their current hardware while benefiting from the platform’s modern capabilities, avoiding costly replacements. The module translates between legacy protocols and the unified system, enabling uninterrupted payment processing and maintaining operational continuity. 

The Impact

By developing JUNO, WeAre934 strengthened its position in hospitality technology and opened new business opportunities. The company entered hospitality payments with a unified platform built for hotel groups, solving a core industry gap by connecting previously separate payment systems.

With VOLO’s support, WeAre934 secured Oracle certification and built PMS integrations, accelerating onboarding and reducing risk. A modular, flexible architecture lowered incremental build and integration costs while enabling global and remote payment capabilities through a partnership with Worldline.
